Video Marketing

Hooray for Hollywood!

Videos are literally popping up like dandelions. You can find them just about everywhere, including on regular snail mail! Yes....you can now order greeting type cards with a pre-loaded video of your choice, that will start when you open them. Youtube and Instagram are the main platforms for videos, but other social media outlets are fast becoming landing pads for all type of videos.

I Can't Afford Spielberg

Videos today do not need to be created with lavish production companies. Award winning documentaries are actually now being shot using iPhones. I can work with you to decide what is best for your type of business. Maybe a small basic production done by semi-professionals will be just enough for your type of clients. You can save thousands by working with part time video professionals to decide what will be best for you. I have worked on on an ad campaign that was shot using iphones and Gopro Cameras that ended up on national TV. This does not mean I am completely writing off professional video production companies. I have worked with many of these companies as well and the  results were absolutely amazing. My job is to help you make the right decision on just how much production you really need when entering the world of video.

Will Birthday Videos Work

Of course the above question is silly, but it does not miss the point of how you may not know exactly what content to use in a video for your company. Maybe a video tour of your office or production facility? How about a quick description of what your company does, set at your corporate offices? It could be a simple "How To" video that showcases your product. I can help you decide on how to get the most marketing impact from the video content you chose to show. Don't be afraid to be creative and interesting.

Important Rule: Keep your video short and to the point!

Where Do You Want Me To Put It

That question is a comedian's dream come true! It is also very valid question when it comes to what platform your video should be used on. Some companies will include a video on their website that is stored on a YouTube Account. This takes care of two marketing platforms at once. You are able to create a YouTube Channel to store your videos (and for people to visit like a TV Channel) AND you get to include a nice video for your clients to see via your website. Maybe you would like to have a "How To" VLOG (Video Blog - A Journalistic record of events or a "how to" on accomplishing a task. Usually updated regularly) Perhaps you want to go "all in" and use your video on TV advertising. Most people are amazed at how reasonable regional cable TV advertising can be. A local plumber actually used a semi professionally produced video on some local cable spots, that had most people thinking they spent a fortune on the ad. Instead they made a fortune with the ad by picking up many new clients! These are just a few ways to premiere and promote your company video. Let me help you decide what platform is best for your team.

The world of video can be exciting and lucrative for your business. It can also be a boring time drain that clients will skip right over. Let's work together to use the power of videos successfully!
