I hear many reasons on "why a business wouldn't, couldn't or shouldn't" participate in a Trade Show, but none of them have been VALID REASONS. Easy example: A company sells electric toothbrushes. They have the most state of the art electric toothbrush on the market at a very reasonable price. Their city has a very popular Home Show, but the booths are $1000. They make a profit of $50 on each each electric toothbrush sold. It will only take them 20 toothbrushes to break even, plus a few to cover time and effort. It just doesn't seem worth it. Really? Actually they ended up going to the trade show and selling out of the 100 electric tooth brushes that were brought. After expenses, they profited $3500 AND picked up 100+ new clients that will be coming to them for replacement accessories. Was it worth it?
Let us help you with show selection, show equipment, and training for your show. I promise you and your business will be thankful that you did.
Why are even the most important of events treated like second thoughts? If you are gathering your Area Managers together for a meeting, is it proper to give them stale donuts and old coffee just because there was no time to prepare? Why wasn't there time to prepare? Now how much value do each of your Area Managers feel they are worth? How about..... each one is worth one stale donut and one bad cup of coffee! The same holds true with your clients. Do you have Open House days to show them exactly why they should STAY your clients? What about a Welcome Day where you bring in new clients to come see why they should be doing business with you. Do you have a Speaker Series, where you host a Guest Speaker from your industry to come in and inform your employees and clients just how good your company is. Each event you participate in is a MARKETING OPPORTUNITY. Let us show you how economical these events can be. Special Events can not only turn into new clients, but they can also turn into "feel good" opportunities as well!
All of us have subscribed to a business' email list because we want to be informed of specials, coupons, events, and other important info. If a business now has permission to email you, why don't they? This is a very good question. I am often told, that clients wish companies would keep in better touch with them. Sometimes I am told a business keeps in too good of touch with them, but this is not often. First there are rules to know about email marketing. You ALWAYS want a mass email program to do the work for you for two main reasons: 1) So your business email does not get labeled as a SPAM creator. 2) It is much easier to use a program (or service) to assist you with these email communications. They may not be able to help you with content, but they can make building the email, sending the email, and tracking the success of the email a breeze. Let me help you with what program to use and what information will be most important to your client.
